Handling/Turnaround Time
As a general rule, we begin pulling all orders as soon as we receive them.
Orders to be shipped by UPS, Good Foot Delivery, Canada Post, and FedEx Express that we receive by 10:00am Eastern Time, Monday-Friday, are picked up by the carrier on the same day.
All orders to ship by FedEx Ground, all orders received after 10:00am, and all orders received on weekends or holidays, will be picked up by the carrier on the next business day. We will still provide tracking info as soon as it is available.
Canada Post Lettermail does not include tracking. You can see details on these services at canadapost.ca. By choosing this service you assume all risk for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
Pickup orders may take up to 24 hours to be pulled. You will receive an email when your order is ready.
We may require tracked orders over $200 be shipped to a secure location (like a post office) for pickup, or require a signature, or both. (All Registered Mail requires a signature as per Canada Post's rules.)
If there is an issue with your order, such as a missing item, we will contact you about the issue, including suggesting substitutions, and/or requesting confirmation to fulfill the rest of the order. These orders may be held up to one (1) business day to await confirmation, and as applicable, resolve the issue.
For Preorders
Preorders ship on the first day they are permitted, whether on release day, when product arrives, or with lead time to arrive on or after release day (1-2 days). For Lettermail the lead time is up to 2 days, and for all tracked items it is 1 day (FedEx Ground will have their pickup scheduled for day before release if possible). Deliveries by Good Foot Delivery will be scheduled for release day.
Preorders for pickup will be available from 12 noon (or whenever we open) on release day.
Orders to ship that contain both preorder and non-preorder items, or pre-order items with different release dates, will be held until the latest release date. If you wish to have split shipping, we strongly recommend you place separate orders for each shipment. Pickup orders may be picked up as products are available, but you will only receive one "Ready for Pickup" email from the system.
Limits of Coverage
By default, our limits of coverage are the standard provided by the carrier for your chosen shipping method. For all UPS and FedEx services, and most Canada Post services this is $100, however Lettermail does not include any coverage at all. You can add-on additional coverage here.
Certain high-end items may, at our sole discretion, be covered for their full amount (up to the limits set by the carrier for your destination).
If you receive an item or parcel that appears damaged from shipping, contact us IMMEDIATELY, with photos of the damage, so we can best assist you. Additionally, if your box was sealed with security tape and the tape appears to have been compromised, do not open the box without contacting us first.
Restrictions
The following products have legal, or manufacturer or distributor-imposed restrictions on where and/or how they can be shipped:
Magic Sealed Product (excluding Secret Lairs), Games Workshop Products: Shipping only permitted within Canada
Aerosols: Pickup and Good Foot Delivery only, Aerosols are non-mailable material and considered Hazardous Goods by both UPS and FedEx.
Attempting to circumvent these restrictions will result in your order (or the offending part thereof) being cancelled.
